Nothing Tops a Famous Cheesesteak

Get your taste buds ready for October 4th, 2009. Sandwich Smash 2009 will be hosted here at the Bellevue! Five chefs from Philadelphia’s most notable restaurants will prepare and discuss their famous sandwiches in front of a live audience. Esquire Food Editor, Ryan D’Agostino will be hosting the event, hopefully getting the chefs to reveal the inspiration and background behind their mouth watering sandwiches. The Bellevue's own Rick Olivieri will be cooking and presenting his famous Philly cheese steak. If you can't wait to try this Philadelphia staple, head on down to Rick's Philly Steak, located in the food court at the Bellevue, and grab one of these famous Philadelphia sandwiches.
Proceeds from the Sandwich Smash will go towards the Philabundance peanut butter and jelly food drive.
